These FDA-cleared, Bluetooth-enabled devices offer streaming of phone calls for both i OS and Android users. Lexie B2 Plus devices carry 18 hous of charge each day and the included charging case provides up to an additional, portable charge without being plugged in.
Currently the top-selling OTC hearing aid in the U. S., the Lexie B2 Plus earns our top ranking for its user-friendly setup, robust app and exceptional customer service. Customers can purchase Lexie B2 Plus hearing aids without a doctor’s prescription at some local retailers like Walgreens or here on soundly.com. What makes Lexie B2 Plus Special? Intuitive Lexie App:The free Lexie app offers an impressive level of control and customization.
Through self-tuning and a wealth of educational resources, the app guides you through your hearing aid setup and adjustment period. Standout features include easy-to-use directionality controls, adjustments for Treble, Bass, World Volume, and Balance, and direct access to customer service via live video, chat, or phone support.

Why We Recommend the Lexie B2+ Powered By Bose
Choose this if you want to self-fit but don't want to feel alone in the process. The Lexie Expert support team — available by video, phone, or chat — is genuinely unusual in the OTC space. You're not buying a gadget, you're getting guided support.
- Run the in-app hearing test in a quiet room, not in the kitchen. Background noise during setup skews your hearing profile. Give it 10 minutes of complete quiet to get a calibration that actually reflects your ears.
- Use the Front microphone mode in restaurants. Switching from Everywhere to Front mode focuses the hearing aid on whoever is sitting across from you. This single setting change can make noisy meals feel manageable again.
- Buy from Walgreens if you want a no-pressure return option. In-store purchase gives you the ability to return it locally if the fit isn't right, without shipping logistics.
- You have severe or profound hearing loss.
- You do not use a smartphone (device setup is entirely app-dependent).
- You require professional in-person fitting or clinical ear examinations.
- Self-fitting technology powered by Bose allowing for independent home setup.
- Supports Bluetooth streaming for phone calls on both iOS and Android devices.
- Includes a 45-day trial period to ensure satisfaction with sound quality.

Reviews
Fairly easy to set up. They only came with the number 2 wires. Had to order number 3 so it took a couple of weeks to get fully adjusted.

These are my third pair of hearing aids and by far the best yet as far as hearing conversations. My ability to hear conversations is good and the ability to switch to forward is very useful in a noisy restaurant. My only complaint is I get a feedback screetch if my hands or arms get to close to my hearing aids.
David
I had tried another OTC hearing aid and found it sorely wanting. Saw the ad for Lexi B2+, tried them, and never looked back. There are plenty of fit options, they are comfortable, and they just work.

I absolutely love these hearing aids. They are so comfortable, even while wearing glasses. The connection to my phone took some getting used to. The sound quality is excellent.
Amy
These hearing aids are very comfortable to wear. They pick up sounds from all around me. I really like the app where I can choose my environment to filter out unwanted sounds.
