The Be Hear® SMARTO is a rechargeable hand-held or body-worn hearing amplifier from Alango Technologies, designed for significant hearing assistance with up to 70 dB amplification.

I'm reviewing this product based on my mother in law's experience. We got it for her mostly to help her hear the television better. It has really helped her with the TV, but beyond that, she uses it whenever she has visitors, and we no longer need to shout at her to be understood. So, for the price, we're very happy. She doesn't leave the house much, and doesn't need anything discreet, so this just worked for her.
