User Reviews
I have been wearing the Oticon Intent 2 for almost two weeks and I love them. I wore the Oticon More’s for three years. I tried the Reals for two weeks before the Intent’s were released and I enjoy the Intent’s more than the More’s and Reals. The Reals did not seem much better than my three year old Mores. Sounds feel natural and I seem to have a better sense of where sound is coming from. Streaming podcasts/music and phone calls is similar to the Mores. My Intent’s were the same price as the Real’s. My insurance covered 80%. I have profound/severe hearing loss. What was neat for me was last night after wearing the HA’s for 15 hours, I still had 9 hours of battery life remaining. My MORE’s usually had a 16-17 hour battery life. The Intent’s are shorter, but fatter. They feel lighter. The wire also fits better than the More and Reals. I seem to have less feedback too. Price compare Oticon at other Hearing Aid providers, see if your Doc is competitive.
I hate my oticons so much. I had the in-the-ear style. All I heard sounded too digital and, not enough of the natural noises. It sounded too much one dimensional I used them.for a months and turned them back in. I have resound BTE now. Much happier and they seem durable to put up with heat, humidity, and sweat in Florida..
